Reviews and Ratings
The hotel room was big enough for our family of 2 adults, 4 kids, and 1 baby, and it was good. However, the view facing the Skudai Plaza wasn't pleasant, and the noise from the passing motorcycles and cars made it hard to sleep until 5 am. The room definitely needs some service or a change.
The hotel's location is incredibly strategic, making it ideal for a quick stop before reaching my final destination. The rooms are tidy and clean, though the fact that the toilet door cannot lock from the inside was a bit concerning. The staff are always attentive and ready to assist guests with any issues, even bringing extra blankets at no additional cost.
The hotel's location is very strategic for a stopover before reaching my final destination. The staff were able to handle all the guests efficiently despite some unclear information about deposits and payments. The property showed a noticeable improvement from the outside to the room, although there were issues with the basement parking being smelly and dark.
The hotel provides clean rooms, but they lack presentation due to flaking paint and scratched walls. Unfortunately, there was no Wi-Fi connection available under the corporate rate. On the bright side, the 1hp split-type air conditioning was a relief during my stay.
The hotel is advertised as a Legoland hotel, which is very strategic for me to take a break before my final destination. However, the surrounding area, especially the basement parking, is dirty and smelly. The room rate offered is competitive compared to other hotels nearby, but more clarity is needed on deposits and payments.
Staying at GoodHope Hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms offered a perfect view of Skudai town, being the highest building around, however, the price of rm258 was a bit on the higher side. The service was friendly and helpful, but some issues with the key and coffee offerings were noted. The location was pretty good and easy to find, close to the town center but with some parking challenges. The dining options could be better, with limited choices, but overall, the hotel offered decent value for the money.
The hotel's location is very strategic for a quick break with Mamak stalls nearby, although some areas like the toilet are dirty. The room had a musty smell and old air conditioning that may need servicing or replacement. The staff, while friendly, appeared tired. The dining options were average, and there were better eateries nearby.
I was disappointed with my stay at the hotel. The room I had was facing a creepy plaza, and the noise from motorcycles and cars kept me up until early morning. Despite choosing the most expensive option, the room was very basic, and it wasn't even clean the next day. The price of RM258 did not match the quality of the room.
My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms were spacious enough for my family of 2 adults, 4 kids, and 1 baby, and they looked much better than expected, despite the issue with the toilet door not locking from the inside. The service was excellent, with staff always ready to assist guests and provide a comfortable stay, although they were overly eager to clear tables. The location was convenient, offering me a strategic place to rest before my final destination and close to various amenities, although the advertised Legoland connection was not fully evident. The dining options were acceptable, but the breakfast choices were limited and not replenished promptly. The facilities were decent, although there were some improvements needed, especially in the dining area.
